The Story behind Wildwoods Creative

We all can identify with titles. I’ve carried a professional title for years now. The thing with titles though…there is always more of a story than just a title.

Growing up with a rough childhood, I experienced the pain of abuse, trauma, and beatings - it was an incredibly difficult life for a long time. Even after I turned 10, life was still hard. I was left struggling to find my identity, my worth, and spiraled into depression. But I didn't stay there.

I sought help. I got my life back on track and pursued an education, even though it was a challenge. My hard work paid off, and I now have a Master's degree in counseling psychology and hold licensure in two states. I run a private practice called Woods Counseling Services, and I get the privilege of helping people every day overcome the things that are holding them back from being their best selves.

BUT WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH VIDEOGRAPHY???

RIGHT! Here’s the thing. Because I lived this life, I know that story can be so powerful. It gives something for others to connect to, something that is relatable. I’m sure you are reading this wondering if I actually have more to the story, not just the simple version.

I know how powerful story can be. Not only for film, but for businesses, marketing. Shoot, even for photos. You can have just a regular photo, or a photo that evokes an emotion. A story can be so simple, yet so powerful.

I am a fun and creative person, and want to share that with the world. I am looking forward to doing meaningful work that really helps tell a story and others achieve their goals. I look forward to meeting with you to help you tell your story thats waiting to be told.
